BERKELEY SPRINGS, W.Va. — No. 3 East Hardy bounced back from its first defeat of the season by routing Berkeley Springs, 69-47, on Thursday night.
The Cougars (6-1), who suffered their first loss of the season to Tucker County last week, controlled the fourth quarter, 21-8, to pull away from the Indians.
Jordan Teets scored nine of his game-high 23 points in the fourth. He drilled a trio of 3-pointers in the first quarter and another in the second to finish with a team-high four triples, matching the total of Nate Smith, who ended with 18 points.
JW Teets also finished in double figures with 13 points.
Isaiah Hutinson (14 points), Holden Gurson (12) and Dakota Hamrick (10) finished in double figures for Berkeley Springs.
East Hardy had a home date with Tygarts Valley on Friday night but it was postponed due to the high wind warning for Jan. 20. The Cougars are at Northern on Monday.
