Niagara County continues to see a heavy dose of early voters.
On Tuesday, 4,113 voters cast their ballots compared to the 2,601 counted on day 4 ahead of the 2020 presidential election. Tuesday’s number of 4,113 voters was identical to Monday’s
So far, 16,783 registered voters have cast their ballots at early voting sites in the county. Over the first four days of early voting in 2020, 9,086 votes were counted.
Election site workers will still have a lot of work to do on Tuesday. Board of Elections officials have noted that there are currently 155,462 registered voters in Niagara County, up from 150,318 in 2020.
Early voting continues through Sunday. All voting sites will be open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. every day.

• Cornell Cooperative Extension (Niagara County fairgrounds), 4487 Lake Ave., Lockport
• Wheatfield Community Center, 2790 Church Road, North Tonawanda
• Newfane Community Center, 2737 Main St., Newfane
• Wendelville Fire Co., 7340 Campbell Blvd., North Tonawanda
Early voting sites are open to all voters. On election day, Tuesday, voters must vote at their assigned polling site. All sites are accessible to voters with physical disabilities.
In addition, the Niagara County Board of Elections, 111 Main St., Suite 100, Lockport, is open extended hours for absentee balloting for the general election from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday.
