EARLVILLE — Earlville Opera House announced its 2026 Main Stage Performance Season with a new season ticket option.
According to a news release, season ticket purchasers will save 10% on the 2026 Performance Season and have the same seat for the entire season. Season tickets are available for purchase until noon Feb. 14. The cost for seven shows is $325 for a general season ticket and $290 for a member season ticket. Premiums apply to select seating. Performances will begin at 7 p.m. Valentine’s Day, Feb. 14, which is also near Mardi Gras, with a performance by two-time Grammy-award winner Terrance Simien & the Zydeco Experience, the release stated. Tannahill Weavers will celebrate 58 years touring as an award-winning Celtic group from Scotland at 7 p.m. March 13. The Lightfoot Band, musicians from the original Gordon Lightfoot Band will perform at 7 p.m. April 11. These are the seasoned musicians who collaborated with Gordon Lightfoot on his world-famous recordings and toured extensively with him here in North America and internationally for many decades.
Hubby Jenkins, an American multi-instrumentalist who studies and performs old-time American music, will perform at 7 p.m. May 2. He is a former member of the Carolina Chocolate Drops and the Rhiannon Giddens Band and has been nominated for Grammy and Americana awards. Carsie Blanton, a songwriter with “hooks, chutzpah and revolutionary optimism” will perform June 5, the release stated. Inspired by artist-activists including Nina Simone and Woody Guthrie, her catalog careens through American popular song from folk and swing to pop-punk protest anthems and she recently returned from a flotilla mission to Gaza with humanitarian aid only to be captured and released by the Israeli government.
The Weight Band, an American rock band composed of band leader, renowned guitarist Jim Weider (The Band, Levon Helm’s Midnight Ramble Band, Jim Weider Band), keyboardist Brian Mitchell (Levon Helm’s Midnight Ramble Band), bassist Albert Rogers (Jim Weider Band, Jimmy Vivino), drummer Michael Bram (Jason Mraz) and keyboardist Matt Zeiner (Dickey Betts), will perform at 7 p.m. Oct. 17. This veteran quintet shares a deep appreciation and knowledge for keeping the music of The Band alive, which Weider describes as the “Woodstock Sound.”
The Gibson Brothers will present “A Northern Country Christmas” at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 13. They are a highly acclaimed and multi-awarded family farming band from the Adirondacks known to many local dairy farming families in the area, plus, an EOH favorite!
