SOUTH GLENS FALLS — Beekmantown’s Nolan Laidman was the overall winner in the boys’ race at the K-Dawg Cross Country Invitational, Saturday.
Held at the Moreau Recreation Park, the three mile course was relatively flat resulting in quick times.
Numerous Section VII teams competed including AuSable Valley, Lake Placid, Plattsburgh, Saranac Lake and Seton Catholic.
Laidman finished with a top time of 15.28. Noah Trombly grabbed a medal as well with a time of 17:11 to finish 21st overall.
The other top seven for Beekmantown were Escher Hoffman in 17:37 (31st), Patrick Rabideau in 18:59 (82nd), Zachary Benware in 19:09 (85th), Logan Conway in 21:09 (126th) and Logan Dearborn in 23:09 (149th).
The Eagles finished sixth overall as a team.
On the girls’ side, eighth grader Jordanne Minchoff finished third with a time of 18:20.6. Sophomore Bristol Provost added a time of 19:51 to medal with an 18th place finish.
The remainder of the top seven were Olivia Drowne in 20:38 (31st), Addison Cartier in 20:55 (34th), Zilpha Irland in 20:56 (35th), Ryleigh Baker in 21:34 (41st) and Savannah Luasiewicz in 22:10 (55th).
Beekmantown finished overall in third place behind Burnt Hills and Saranac Lake.
