Ran second in the boys varsity race at the Franklin Park Invitational. Eighth at MVC Championships with a 16:48 clocking. Finished 14th overall in the Division 1A State Meet as well. “Absolutely loves to work hard and to be challenged,” said coach Sue Kiley. National Honor Society student.

Momentous first season of cross country ever. Merrimack Valley Division 2 All-Conference choice. Placed 13th at the MVC Championships. Was third at the MSTCA Frank Kelly Invitational and sixth at the Frank Mooney Invitational. Owns the 14th fastest time ever at Winnekinni for a Haverhill High runner and the second fastest time for a Hillie at Wrentham. “Had a great summer of running to prepare for this season. Showed tremendous improvement,” said coach Mike Maguire.

Team Coach’s Award winner. Integral part of the “Long Red Line” march to the 2023 state title this past fall. Won the annual Alumni Meet and the Kennett Invitational. Placed fifth (15:43) at the Nashua North Invite and 16th (16:12) in the Manchester Invitational. Fifth in the Division I Championships and 32nd in New England. “Tremendous team leader,” said coach Mike Clark.

Late-blooming runner who came into his own this fall. Team MVP, paved the way for Knights’ third straight trip to All-State Meet of Champions. First-team All-Merrimack Valley Conference selection. Third at the MVC Championship Meet. “Dylan is a fearless competitor, who does not overthink racing. His ability to run on instinct is refreshing,” said coach Bill Varney. Talented voice in choir. Wesleyan among his top college choices.

Repeat choice on our All-Star team. Co-captain in cross country, indoor and outdoor track. Led the Knights in seven of 10 league meets before being slowed by injury late in the year. Dynamic three-season distance performer. Second-team all-conference choice. Already in Knights’ top-10 indoor and outdoor at the two-mile. “Luke is the most coachable and passionate distance runner you will find. His love of running is contagious,” said coach Bill Varney.

Rose to the challenge late in the season as the Knights’ No. 2 performer at MVCs in 10th, Division 1B states, where he was 15th, and the All-State Meet of Champions. “Your classic late bloomer and his development as a junior has been the result of more consistent distance training,” said coach Bill Varney.
