FROSTBURG — A dump truck that caught fire Saturday inside a garage was contained by employees prior to the arrival of firefighters, according to the Maryland Office of the State Fire Marshal.
Firefighters, led by the Shaft Volunteer Fire Department, were called to the Tysons Corner Lane property about 7:35 a.m.
The fire, which caused about $50,000 damage, broke out in a passenger compartment of the 2008 Peterbilt truck.
Employees reportedly used fire extinguishers to keep the fire from spreading, investigators said. There were no injuries.
