MANKATO — A 71-year-old driver is facing non-life-threatening injuries after a vehicle collision near Highway 22 and Madison Avenue, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
The incident happened at around 5:30 p.m. Thursday evening.
Pamela Elaine Pruka, 71 of Iowa, was driving a 2022 Buick Envision southbound on Highway 22 while Forrest Thornton Drengler, 35 of Mankato, was driving a 2007 Chevrolet Silverado eastbound on Madison Avenue when the vehicles collided.
Pruka was treated at Mayo Clinic Health System, Mankato; Drengler was not injured.
Both drivers were wearing seatbelts, and road conditions were dry at the time of the incident.
