GRAWN — A doorbell camera started a 5-mile police chase through thick cover in Blair Township, according to Michigan State Police officials.
Troopers responded to a suspected home invasion call around 8 a.m. Tuesday after a Blair Township homeowner saw a woman in his driveway with his Ring doorbell camera. The homeowner reported that the woman went inside the house and left with items.
A K-9 team tracked the woman 5 miles, according to an MSP statement. A 44-year-old woman from Kingsley was found in thick vegetation, arrested and taken to Grand Traverse County jail on suspicion of multiple charges, the statement read.
