Anyone interested in knowing what art classes are available for themselves, their parents, children and even grandchildren in the Crossville area is encouraged to stop by Art Circle Public Library next month for Meet the Arts Center.
The event, an introduction to Plateau Creative Arts Center and an inspiring afternoon dedicated to the arts, will be from 12:30-3:30 p.m. Saturday, June 7, in the library’s Cumberland Room.
“Whether you’re an artist yourself or simply appreciate creativity, this is a wonderful opportunity to connect with the vibrant arts community,” said Jane Harding, a marketing committee member of Plateau Creative Arts Center.
Those attending will hear how they can view and/or purchase beautiful and unique artwork, and possibly display their own artwork, as well as how to support the arts.
This special event offers a chance to meet talented artists in the community, explore the many artistic opportunities available at the Arts Center, and hear more about gallery exhibits, Art in the Park, Endless Possibilities Gift Shop, classes, and membership.
Artists from a variety of disciplines will be on hand to share their work and experiences, including:
Painting and Drawing – Acrylic, oil, watercolor, pastels, colored pencil, life drawing
Glass and Ceramics – Fused glass, glass mosaics, glass painting, ceramics
Mixed Media and Unique Crafts – Alcohol inks, eco prints, jewelry, journaling, leather work
