The Faery sisters had Riley Robinson’s back.
Abbie and Rian Faery drove in two runs each and junior Riley Robinson threw a complete game three-hitter as third-seeded Wilson defeated second-seeded Portville, 7-1, in a Class B2 semifinal.
Younger sister Abbie recorded two RBIs off passed balls in the first while older sister Rian recorded an RBI groundout in the second and a RBI double in the sixth. Aleena Adamczyk’s sacrifice fly gave Wilson a 3-0 lead in the first, while Ava Mielke and Mackenzie Hardy later drove in a run each.
On the mound, Robinson struck out four batters and threw 128 pitches for the Lakewomen. Wilson (12-9) looks to clinch its first sectional title since 2001 when it plays top-seeded Falconer for the Class B2 championship at 7:30 p.m. at Grand Island.
Falconer defeated No. 4 Eden, 6-4, in the other B2 semifinal.

Ethan Goodband threw a complete-game two-hitter and delivered the game-deciding run with an RBI single in the second to advance the Bulldogs to the semifinal.
Goodband struck out four batters on the mound and threw 99 pitches. With the win, Kenmore East plays the winner of No. 2 Grand Island and No. 7 Williamsville South at 5 p.m. Thursday with the location yet to be determined.
Senior Ethan Ernst and sophomore Brady Wilkinson recorded one hit apiece for Starpoint. Junior Brady Case allowed one run on seven hits and fanned eight in six innings of work on the mound.
Starpoint finished the season with an 8-11 record.

Junior and Niagara commit Tyler Johnston threw a no-hitter and struck out 14 in five innings of work to send the Lakemen to the semifinals. Johnston’s final strikeout in the fifth against Holland’s Jack Brown set the new Section VI career strikeout record with 350.
Johnson also drove in two of Wilson’s runs, with a sacrifice fly in the first and an RBI single in the third.Ryan Hough went 3 for 3 at the plate with one RBI and two runs. Blake Simpson had a sacrifice fly in the third while Tyler Durow and Tyler Woolston drove in a run each.
Conner Ernest came in relief for the final two innings and allowed one run one hit and struck out four batters. Wilson (12-7) plays the winner of No. 1 Frewsburg and No. 8 Chautauqua Lake in the semifinals Thursday.
Frank Scharmach threw all seven innings for Holland and allowed three earned runs on eight hits and retired five. Scharmach also delivered an RBI single for the Dutchman, who finished the season with an 8-8 record.
