MOULTRIE – It has been a frustrating season for the Florida State football team, but Ryan Fitzgerald continues to do quality work.
In the Seminoles 42-16 loss to SMU on Saturday, the former Packer kicker made both of his extra point attempts and is now 6-for-6 on extra points and 6-for-6 on field goal attempts.
He had a 59-yard field goal against Georgia Tech.
Also in the game against SMU, Landen Thomas had his first collegiate pass reception and it went for a 20-yard touchdown on a third quarter pass from quarterback DJ Uiagalelei.
The Seminoles, now 1-4, will be home on Saturday to play host to Clemson.
