Deputies investigating fatal wreck

Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department is investigating after one person died in a vehicle wreck Friday afternoon.
Sheriff Ward Calhoun said the department received a 911 call about the one-vehicle wreck in the 11000 block of Centerhill Martin Road around 12:45 p.m. The vehicle had gone off the road, he said.
“The driver died as a result of injuries from the crash,” he said.
Deputies are investigating the incident, Calhoun said, and more information will be released later on.
