Daisy Scouts of Troop 2828 have earned the Summit Award Pin.
The Summit Award is the highest honor for Daisy Scouts.
The project, along with many other badges, they completed benefits the Cumberland Mountain State Park. The scavenger hunt was designed and tested by the troop.
The troop worked with Park Manager Mark Houston and Ranger Corbin Maddox.
The scavenger hunt has 45 various items to locate in the Cumberland Mountain State Park.
The instructions on the scavenger hunt checklist say to not pick up any of the items but only locate and checkmark that the hunter found them.
Copies of the free scavenger hunt are available at the park office for all to use.
