DANVILLE — The Community Roots Tree removal program is Danville is being extended to the end of January.
According to a release from the City of Danville, the program was originally slated to begin in June. Because of the large amounts of storm debris, the program didn’t get going until July.
Contractors will be removing and pruning trees throughout the city.
Property owners adjacent to the tree work will be notified with door hangers 3-10 days before the work starts.
All of tree removal and pruning is within the City of Danville right of way.
