Danny Garwood and Co. will be performing for a benefit concert Aug. 31 at the Cumberland County Playhouse, 221 Tennessee Ave. in Crossville to support the Fairfield Glade Lions Club.
Proceeds from the concert will benefit Helping Hearts Foster Kids Closet, Foster Kids Duffle bag/Backpack program, as well as the many other organizations the Lions Club supports.
Garwood came to the Village Green Mall in Fairfield Glade to meet and greet the Lions Club Friday, June 27.
Garwood and his band have performed all over the United States and are known for their Blues and 60’s and 70’s Rock. They have been nominated for Top Band and Top Music Video for 2025.
Garwood has had the honor of sharing the stage twice with Buddy Guy and Christone “Kingfish” Ingram at the Ryman Theater in Nashville, during Buddy Guys Farewell tour, as well as solo performances at Tootsies in Nashville.
Garwood currently has the honor of hosting the youth Blues Jam at Ground Zero Blues Club in Clarksdale, MS, in conjunction with the international Blues Challenge and is sponsored by the Smokey Mountain Blues Society in Knoxville, TN.
