The Dale Association is opening its doors to the community for a special open house event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Aug. 15 to discover the many programs and services that have supported older adults and caregivers for 75 years.
Attendees will have the opportunity to tour the facility, meet staff and volunteers, learn about the organization’s wide range of programs, and experience firsthand how the Dale Association helps older adults remain active, independent, and connected to their community.
The open house will feature:
• Guided tours of the Senior Center & PROS Center for Mental Wellness
• Information about wellness, fitness, nutrition, caregiver support, mental health, and social programs
• Opportunities to meet program staff and volunteers
• Refreshments and community fellowship
• Information on volunteer opportunities and ways to support The Dale Association’s mission
• Ribbon Cutting ceremony with state Sen. Rob Ortt and Assemblyman Paul Bologna at noon
“As we celebrate our 75th Anniversary, we are excited to welcome the community into our home,” said Gretchen Doty, director of the Senior Centre. “Whether you’ve been part of The Dale Association for years or are visiting for the first time, we invite you to see how our programs continue to enrich the lives of older adults throughout our community.”
The event is free and open to the public. Community members, families, caregivers, local businesses, and anyone interested in learning more about The Dale Association are encouraged to attend.
