CUMBERLAND — A city woman was arrested early Monday when Cumberland Police took her into custody on narcotics distribution and possession charges filed through an indictment returned recently by an Allegany County grand jury.
Aleta Snowden, 26, was also issued two criminal citations at the time of the arrest as the result of suspected fentanyl that was found in her possession during the arrest that was made without incident.
Snowden was jailed at the Allegany County Detention Center to await a bond hearing in Circuit Court in relation to the bench warrant stemming from the grand jury indictment.
Police did not disclose the specifics of the alleged crimes detailed in the indictment or the location of the arrest.
