CUMBERLAND — A Cumberland woman wanted on federal drug distribution charges was arrested Monday at a Bedford Street home, according to officials.
Nikita Loraine Bible, 38, was taken into custody inside her residence after the Allegany County Sheriff’s Office Special Operations Response Team and the Maryland State Police combined warrant unit executed a search warrant at the residence.
Sheriff’s office officials confirmed the arrest warrant stemmed from a Drug Enforcement Administration investigation that resulted in charges related to distribution of control substances.
Bedford Street was temporarily shut down during the arrest.
