CUMBERLAND — A city woman was arrested for the recent alleged assault of a woman at a Paca Street residence, according to Cumberland Police.
Tammy Lee Illiff, 54, was charged by arrest warrant with first-degree assault, burglary of a dwelling in the fourth degree and related charges in connection with the Oct. 6 incident in the 200 block of Paca Street, police said.
Illiff was jailed without bond by a court commissioner, pending bail review Monday by a district court judge.
Police said Illiff forcibly entered the property and assaulted an occupant, who suffered injuries in the alleged incident.
Illiff reportedly left the residence following the 7:18 p.m. incident which led to a warrant being issued as a result of the investigation.
It was not disclosed if the victim sought medical treatment.
