CUMBERLAND — A city man remained jailed Friday after he was arrested on a warrant from Mineral County, West Virginia, where he is wanted on assault and destruction of property charges, according to Cumberland Police.
Michael Robert Caswell Jr., 39, was taken into custody Thursday at an unspecified location. He was also found in possession of suspected methamphetamines and suboxone at the time of his arrest, police said.
Caswell, who was issued citations for the drug violations, was ordered jailed at the Allegany County Detention Center, pending extradition to Mineral County.
