CUMBERLAND — More than 50 walkers participated in the 54th annual CROP Hunger Walk along the Great Allegheny Passage on Oct. 12.
CROP, which stands for Christians Relating to Other People, is a 3-mile walk to raise awareness of hunger throughout the world.
Funds raised assist the Cumberland Interfaith Community Food Pantry, LaVale United Methodist Food Pantry and the Western Maryland Food Bank.
The event raised $6,800.
