Also, Brookwood Elementary School’s Christkindlmarkt will be on hand with some lovely handmade items for sale.
December Gallery Reception
The market is held in conjunction with the December Gallery Reception Friday evening. Plan to come early and shop the Mistletoe Market and then join the Guild in the lobby and in Gallery FIVE20 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. to enjoy the inspiring exhibit “Local Roots” featuring works by artists whose talents were born, honed, sweetened and enriched while they lived in our area. Many have been a part of the Guild’s amazing legacy.
For 60 years local artists’ contributions along with the vision, work and dedication of so many others have all played a role in the Guild’s mission of cultivating and sustaining the arts in Dalton and the surrounding region. Come see this wonderful exhibit and join us in acknowledging the beauty, creativity and passion that our homegrown artists pour into their communities wherever they reside.
The market, reception and exhibit are open to the public. Light refreshments will be available plus wine and beer for purchase. For more information, contact Guild Gallery Director David George at (706) 278-0168 or davidg@creativeartsguild.org.
