MANKATO — A Mankato woman was hospitalized following a Friday night crash on Highway 22 at its interchange with Highway 14.
Dilan Ranee Callahan, 26, suffered non-life-threatening injuries when her 2021 Chevrolet Spark and a 2016 Ford Escape driven by Andrew John McGuire, 33, of Mankato collided at 9:13 p.m., according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
Callahan was heading south on Highway 22, and McGuire’s Ford was traveling north on Highway 22, turning toward the westbound Highway 14 onramp when they collided in the intersection, the Patrol reported.
Callahan was transported to the Mankato hospital. McGuire was not injured. Both drivers were wearing seat belts, air bags deployed in each vehicle and alcohol was not a factor in the crash, according to the Patrol.
