Joe Coviello provided the big blow with a third-inning grand slam, giving the Jaguars all the offense they would need. On the mound, Josh Martino turned in a strong start, going five innings and allowing just one earned run. Jake Sullo came on in relief to finish things off and secure the win.
Salem 12, Concord 2
Kyle Giarusso, Dom Toscano and Cooper Deschene each had two hits and knocked in two runs, while Deschene was also strong on the hill going five innings and striking out six to earn the win.
Pinkerton Academy 22,
Nashua South 2
The combination of Hunter Braiser, Anthony Caruso, Hayden Marshall and Mike Cioffi combined for nine hits including two doubles and a triple, while driving in 11 runs. Leo Boucher tossed the first three innings, giving up two unearned runs to earn the win. EJ Baker tossed two innings and struck out all six batters.
Haverhill 9, Dracut 0
Brendan Snyder pitched a three-hit shutout with nine strikeouts to lead the Hillies. Offensively, junior Max St. Hilaire knocked in four runs and scored twice.
Methuen 7, Tewksbury 6
The Rangers (6-8) completed a two-day sweep over the Redmen. Kevin Nestor went the first five innings to earn his second win of the season and Justin Fajardo and Kyle Notenboom (save) tossed scoreless innings to nail it down. Offensively, Freddy Batista knocked in two runs.

The doubles team of Ryan Vermilyea and Aaron Stapleton provided the toughest challenge for Keene, losing 8-6.
Lowell Catholic 3, Lawrence 2
Michael Willis and the doubles team of Tran Le and Dailon Perez won their matches for the Lancers in the non-league loss.
Boys Lacrosse
Methuen 11, Tewksbury 4
Quinn Vuylsteke (3 goals, 1 assist), Erik Delaney (2 goals, 1 assist), Jared Cripps (2 goals, 1 assist) and Aiden Cashman (2 goals, 1 assist) all finished with multiple goals for the Rangers. Desmond Czizmadia won 12 faceoffs and goalie Mike Moschitto made 15 saves.

Conor Walsh erupted for nine goals and three assists to lead the Wildcats. Also playing a big part in the win were Mike Valhouli (3 goals, 5 assists), Kyle DiCredico (3-2), Lucas Keefe (3 goals, 23 draw controls) and Bodie Marcotte (1-2).

Kaylee Habib got the job done on the mound and with the bat. She gave up just two hits and struck out nine. At the plate, both Habib and Kayden Ouellette finished 3 for 5 with two RBI.
Peabody 7,
Greater Lawrence 6
Trailing by three runs in the fifth, Sam Nasella belted a three-run home run and Arielle Merlina followed with a solo shot on the next pitch and later in the inning Maya German hit her own home run. The score remained 6-4 until Peabody hit a three-run double in the seventh to win it.
Nasella, Merlina, Olivia Erban and Brook Nasella had multiple hits for the Reggies (8-7).

Westford Academy 11
The Rangers (6-9) powered past the Grey Ghosts behind the performances of Sam Chalupa and Adriana Delaney, who both had three hits and three RBI, while Melany Reyes, Addy Campbell and Bella Medeiros (2 RBI) had two hits each. Ainsley Low and KK LaFlamme also drove in two runs.
Windham 8, Portsmouth 2
The Jaguars move to 10-0 behind the five-hit, five strikeout gem from Claire Ballard. Freshman Lily Carballeira belted her first career home run, a grand slam to break the game wide open. Ballard, Kelly Wright, and sophomore Ava Runde all had multi hit games.

Newton South 4, Andover 1
The Golden Warriors’ (13-1) perfect season came to an end with a non-league loss. Ishwa Dharan was the team’s lone winner.

The Rangers (12-3) were led by Kiera Fitzpatrick (5 goals, 4 assists), Kate Fitzpatrick (3 goals), Allie Bolduc (2 goals), Elizabeth Descheneaux (2 goals), MJ Petisce (2 goals, 3 assists) and Kaya Sweder (2 goals), who all had multiple goal nights.
Freshman goalie Leah Hunter made six saves to earn the win.

Seniors Kelly Wright and Claire Ballard combined to throw a five-hit shutout with seven strikeouts as the Jaguars remain unbeaten at 9-0. Ballard helped herself at the plate with a two hits and two RBI. Senior Captain Marin Hollingshead made two outstanding catches in left field.
Timberlane 8, Concord 6
The Owls scored two in the top of the seventh to break open the tie. Brooke Salafia was terrific in relief tossing four shutout innings. Offensively, Juliana DeVito walked four times and scored a run, while the combination of Lilly Grosky, Maddie McFadden, Mikayla Salerno and Ellie Sharkey combined for seven hits and seven RBI.

Cara Murray, Alyssa Camell, Nalia Hilton, Hannah Boucher and Samantha Harrington combined for 11 hits, including four doubles and 12 RBI.

Molly Tabb (3 for 4, 6 RBI), Kaelyn Mazzaglia (4 for 4, 5 runs, 3 RBI) and Emma Manning (4 runs, 3 RBI) were the hitting stars for the Hillies.

Sam Nasella pitched a one-hitter striking out seven to lead the Reggies. At the plate, Sophia Dominguez finished with three hits, Mya German and Aysha Paula chipped in with two hits a piece and freshman Olivia Erban hit her first home run of the season.

Senior Jackie Giordano of Andover struck out nine batters, including recording her 500th career strikeout. Sophia Florencio hit a solo homerun.

Dylan Lawrence was superb in relief tossing six shutout winnings with eight strikeouts to earn the win. Offensively for the Scarlet Knights, Trey Martin was 3 for 4, while Jeff LaVolpicelo, Jake Jackson and Brayden Salach had two hits each.

The Lancers were held to just two hits as Finn Ramseyer tossed the complete game shutout. Jayden Minaya was the tough luck losing pitcher, going six innings, giving up an unearned run, while striking out six.
Methuen 17, Tewksbury 0
The Rangers’ (5-8) were up 8-0 before tacking on nine runs in the top of the seventh. Jayden Perrotta had three hits and three RBI and Alex Santiago was 2 for 4 with four RBI. Julius Soto tossed six scoreless innings to earn the win.

Jackson Howell pitched well in defeat, and Corey Deziel, Anthony Giangregorio and Brandon Fasulo each had two hits.

In a five inning game, the Astros made quick work for the win behind the combined shutout of Mason Matuzak (3 innings, win), Cole Eaton and EJ Baker. At the plate, Anthony Caruso and Preston Libby each drove in two runs and Mike Cioffi had two hits, while scoring a run and driving in one.

Henry Hebert earned the victory on the mound, hurling the complete-game shutout with nine strikeouts. At the plate, Jonathan Stokes had three hits, three runs scored, and three RBIs, DJ Thibeault was 2 for 2 with a single, a double, two walks, two runs scored, and four RBI. Also, Carter Leonard and Carson Cobb combined to drive in five runs.

Fifteen different players found the back of the net for the Hillies including Jake Costa (4), Bobby Caron and TJ Lindmark (3), and Matt Baker, Connor Damske and Tim Robertson (2).
Ryan Roy added a goal and four assists and goalie Aiden McDonough made six saves to earn the win.

Central Catholic 9
The Scarlet Knights (8-7) had a huge game from senior midfielder Trey Kean, who finished with seven goals and four assists. Tommy Farrell, Josh Kuberski and Matt Donovan combines for five goals and eight assists.
For Central, Cal Schoenfeld led the way with three goals, while Chase Atkins picked up two assists and Luke Faletra added two tallies. Goalie Maddox Moscardini made 17 saves.
Shawsheen 16, Whittier Tech 1
Conor Walsh scored the lone goal, while Lucas Keefe had 12 draw controls and Vinny Foster made ten saves in net.

Sam Kramer (4 goals, 4 assists) and Corey Wickman (4 goals) led the Jaguars offense.

Isa Robinson and Meghan Daley paced the Scarlet Knights’ offense with four goals each. Taylor Farrell made six saves in net.

Ally Hartman had three goals and two assists, Ella Gallinelli had two goals and Darby Madden had one goal and two assists to lead Windham’s attack. Lyla Filadoro had eight crucial saves in net.

Katie Wood couldn’t be stopped scoring seven goals. She was helped by Emily Young (3), Lily Burke (2) and Haylee Bernard (2). Goalie Zeynep Yildrim made nine saves.
Pelham 17, Belmont 4
Ella DeSimone found the back of the net seven times to ignite the Pythons to the win. Mia Wilkins and Lyla Price added two each. Goalie Addison Breault made four saves.
Brooks wins pair
The Brooks School defeated Middlesex, 25-7 and also Milton 14-12. In the win over Middlesex, Tilly Crosby, Lydia Tangney and North Andover’s Mary Adams had strong games in the midfield, while Sloan Hayden and Cait Driscoll were strong on the attack.
In the win over Milton, Driscoll scored five goals and Tangney added two, while she registered her 300th career draw. Lauren Puglia played well defensively.

The Golden Warriors swept all five matches getting wins from Nik Narina, Matt Wang and Ryan Furlong, and at doubles with Ricky Tran and Aaryan Deshwal, and Beckett Rosner and Cam Nutter.
Central Catholic 3, Lowell 2
Central’s winners were Jack Makiej and Josh Castaletto and then the doubles team of Ryan Bergeron and James Pelletier.
North Andover 5, Tewksbury 0
The Scarlet Knights (11-1) had wins from Keshev Mahadevan, Weber Li and Max Polonsky at singles, and then Ethan Gunn/Lucas Ioakim and Colin Artz/Ben Holland at doubles.

The Jaguars dominated in every match. In singles play, winners were Dylan Wu, Ryan Vermilyea, Rocco Mancini, Faryan Biswas, Zac Hussey and Daniel Hwang. In doubles, the teams of Wu/Vermilyea, Biswas/Hussey and Mancini/Hwang.

The Rangers rolled to the sweep and improved to 12-3 on the season behind the play of Sean LaDuke and Lucas Giard, who combined for 25 kills. LaDuke added in 28 assists and nine digs, and Giard had seven blocks.
For Central, Elijah Hong finished with eight digs and five service points and Sebastien Masse also had five service points and added two blocks.
Haverhill 3, Dracut 2
Setter Peter Grillo had 37 assists, while Patrick Osgood finished with 14 digs and three aces, Brady Paris collected 11 kills and Parker DiNatale finished with four blocks to lead the Hillies.
Andover 3, Lawrence 1
For the Lancers (6-10), Christian Gomez had 37 assists, Victor Torres finished with 26 digs and 19 kills, while Julio Santana had ten service points and Yadian Lopez had four blocks.
