PLATTSBURGH — One of the concerns among local officials regarding the upcoming total eclipse on Monday, April 8 was that many area restaurants are normally not open on Mondays, and the large crowds expected in the area will have no place to eat.
Local restaurants responded and many will be open on April 8 to serve the masses.
“It’s fantastic to see so many places making special arrangements for both visitors and locals alike to have a great time with stellar eats,” Town of Plattsburgh Supervisor Michael S. Cashman said.
The North Country Chamber of Commerce compiled a list of chamber-member restaurants in the Greater Plattsburgh area that will be open for the eclipse.
