Coming Sunday: Growing pains

Mankato’s hospital and Bethany Lutheran College share a hilltop neighborhood with dozens of traditional single-family homes. As the institutions — and a nearby commercial area — grow and expand, so do conflicts with homeowners. Starting this month and continuing for the next year, city officials and the people living and working in the area will attempt to find a balance between the competing interests.
