Classic cars cruising into Essex

ESSEX — Sunday’s weather was perfect for cruising the roads, and slew of unusual cars and motorcycles made their way to Essex for the Police Department’s annual car show.
The vehicles were parked behind Town Hall at Shepard Memorial Park, where the owners showed them off.
More than 1,000 people meandered around the lot checking out the paint jobs, pinstripes and pipes of about 200 vehicles proudly displayed by their owners.
