Hear about the basics of using a computer-controlled embroidery machine during two sessions next month at Cumberland Business Incubator.
Marcia Hiltabidle will teach the safety and basics of the Brother Innov-is 2800D machine in the sessions, from 1-4 p.m. Oct. 9 and 16.
This machine offers an oversized color LCD touch screen, a 10-by-6-inch embroidery area and precise stitching for sewing, quilting, and embroidery projects.
Participants who successfully complete this class may take their own materials and use the embroidery machine for a daily or monthly fee during Maker Space open hours
The class is $30 and includes supplies. No prerequisites are required.
Participants are reminded that closed-toe shoes are required in the CBI Maker Space.
