Smartphones have become the camera of choice for many people — and smartphone photography capabilities have become more powerful and complex.
In an upcoming two-session smartphone photography workshop at Plateau Creative Arts Center, instructor Jack Retterer will cover a comparison of Android and iPhone photography features, look at the types of lenses available in smartphones, and explain the difference and significance of optical zoom vs digital zoom.
He will also cover photographic settings, including portrait, landscape, Panorama, and video; image composition and photo editing tools.
Participants will be taught practical tips and tricks for portraits, landscapes, travel, close-ups and panoramic photography.
The class is limited to 15 participants and will be from 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. for two consecutive Fridays, June 12 and 19.
Class fee is $45 for Art Guild at Fairfield Glade members, $60 for guests.
