Get ready for a festive night of fall fun by joining Donna Cronce in creating a charming trio of rustic wooden pumpkins — perfect for your porch, hearth, or holiday table.
Chunky 4-by-4’s (complete with “stem” nails) will be converted into playful pumpkins using paint, patterns, and imagination at Plateau Creative Arts Center.
Go bold with stripes, sweet with polka dots, or keep it cozy and rustic. Once the pumpkins are painted, participants will top them off with beads, ribbons, and raffia for that perfect handcrafted touch.
This relaxed, no-pressure time of creativity will be from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 6, at the arts center at 451 Lakeview Drive.
It’s a BYOB event — participants are encouraged to bring their favorite drink and a friend to make something beautiful (and a little bit whimsical) together.
The class is limited to 12. Cost is $45 for Art Guild at Fairfield Glade members, $60 for guests. All materials will be provided.
Participants are welcome to bring in any decorations they wish to use on their pumpkins.
To register, drop by the Plateau Creative Arts Center at 451 Lakeview Drive, Fairfield Glade, visit plateauarts.org, or call 931-707-7249.
