FRANKLIN — Claire Clark had a home run and scored two runs overall as Charlotte Valley/Schenevus won a non-league game, 13-3, against the host Purple Devils on Thursday, April 30.
The Wildcats made four double plays to limit the Franklin offense.
Up 5-0, CV/S batted through the lineup in the fourth inning and scored eight runs for a 13-0 lead.
However, Franklin got three runs back in the bottom of the inning to extend the game.
Charlotte Barrett had two hits and three RBI for the Wildcats, which also got three hits from Ava Whipple and two hits and two runs from Alexis Utter.
Adaline Coulter had two hits for Franklin (1-8, 1-3).
Brinlee Wright got the win for Charlotte Valley/Schenevus (9-1, 6-1), which will host the Calhoun Classic in Davenport on Saturday, May 2.

Bailey Thayer got four strikeouts and had a triple but took the loss as CV-S/SS fell to host Oppenheim-Ephratah in a non-league game Thursday.
Kali Hazzard struck out eight batters in a four-hitter and also doubled for O-E, and Audrina Polidori went 3-for-3 with two RBI and a run scored.
Cherry Valley-Springfield/Sharon Springs (4-4, 2-2) plays a non-league game Saturday at Windham-Ashland-Jewett.
Wednesday Result
Susquehanna Valley 11, Oneonta 5
Carley Mistler had a three-run home run, but host Oneonta lost a Southern Tier Athletic Conference East Division game to Susquehanna Valley on Wednesday, April 29.
Mistler took the loss, giving up 12 hits while striking out three.
LilliOnna D’Introno got the win, striking out eight Yellowjackets while walking six and giving up six hits.
Jenevie Gallusser went 2-for-4 for Oneonta (10-3, 3-2), which plays a non-division game at Union-Endicott on Saturday.
