DANVILLE — The City of Danville is accepting applications from the Downtown Tax Increment Financing (TIF) District.
According to a release from the city, this grant opportunity provides financial assistance for permanent building and site improvements on properties located within the Downtown TIF District.

Cost proposalsCompleted W-9 form for the granteeLetter from the owner of record granting the applicant permission to complete the proposed improvements (if the applicant is not the owner)Letter of commitment or other evidence of adequate financing (if applicable)Letter of intent, including a statement on the positive impact in the downtown area and overall quality of life in the City of Danville.Before PhotosSite plan of the property, as well as any elevation drawings or exhibits needed to illustrate improvements (if applicable)
Applications are reviewed and scored using established eligibility criteria, with funding awarded to the strongest proposals. The City of Danville encourages all businesses within the Downtown TIF District to take advantage of this opportunity and apply. This program operates independently from Downtown Danville Inc. grants.
