CUMBERLAND — A city man was arrested Wednesday after a monthlong investigation into the sale of drugs in the area, the Allegany County Narcotics Task Force said.
Brandon Martese Paige, 44, was allegedly found in possession of a large amount of cocaine, controlled dangerous substance packaging material, a large amount of money and two firearms with ammunition when police served a warrant in the 700 block of Gephart Drive.
He was being held at the Allegany County Detention Center after being denied bond during a hearing Thursday in District Court.
Cumberland Police, the Allegany County Sheriff’s Office and Maryland State Police Strategic Operations Group assisted in the warrant service.
