• Antioch Baptist Church in Dalton has an Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 23, from 2 to 4 p.m. There will be lots of food, fun, Easter Eggs and prizes, organizers say. Everyone is invited. There will be an Easter Sunrise Service and breakfast on Sunday morning, March 31. The Sunrise Service begins at 7:30 a.m. Gary Bowen preaching, Justin Bowen singing. Breakfast begins at 8 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall. Everyone is invited. The church is at 1205 Antioch Drive.
• Five Springs Methodist Church at 2823 Five Springs Road in Dalton has a community food pantry on the first and third Tuesday of each month from 9 to 10 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall. All are welcome.
• Five Springs Methodist Church has Fellowship Singing and a Covered Dish Supper the third Sunday of the month at 5:30 p.m.
• Riverbend Church of Christ opens a benevolent house each Monday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for area residents in need. People can choose from a variety of clothing, shoes, household items and more at no charge. The ministry is in the white house beside the church building at 2218 S. Riverbend Road.
• St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, 901 W. Emery St., offers several Christian educational opportunities and events:
— Stations of the Cross service, every Wednesday at noon in the sanctuary, the public is invited.
— Evening Prayer Services nightly at 6:15 in the sanctuary until March 27.
— Lenten Lecture Series, Experiencing Spirituality in Current Events: How to Bring God Into Our Crazy World: March 6, America Gruner, “Immigration and the Latino Community”; March 13, the Rev. Judge Rod Weaver, “Civil Rights”; March 20, Rabbi Lewis, “War in the Holy Land.” All are at 5:30 p.m. in the Parish Hall followed by a soup supper. The community is invited.
