NORTH ANDOVER — The Friends of the First-Calvary Baptist Church will host Frosty’s Fiesta Christmas Fair from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Nov. 22 at the church’s fellowship hall, 586 Massachusetts Ave.
Lunch will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
There will be gift baskets, gifts, jewelry, Christmas decorations, unique wreaths, baked goods and more available for purchase.
Proceeds support the community outreach projects of the Friends of the First-Calvary Baptist Church.
Dancers perform in ‘Nutcracker’
ANDOVER — Six local dance students of The Andover School of Ballet, Jazz, Tap & More, 14 Park St., are gearing up to perform in local area productions of the holiday ballet “The Nutcracker.”
These students rehearse their roles every week, as well as continuing their schedule of weekly dance classes at the dance studio. The Andover School of Ballet, Jazz, Tap & More has been in town for more than 45 years.
Each dancer went through an audition and then waited to hear if they were chosen for a role in order to be cast in these productions. These dancers will now have the opportunity to perform on stage in a professional production and learn firsthand about the life of a professional dancer.
Performing in the Dance Prism production of “The Nutcracker” on Dec. 20 to Dec. 21 at the Collins Center for the Arts at Andover High School, 100 Shawsheen Road are Scarlett Price, Sally Minier-Rosado, Elaina Scott, Julianne Yates, Janavi Kumar and Olivia Knight.
Some students perform in the touring cast, dancing every weekend from Nov. 30 to Dec. 21 in Fall River, Sudbury, Littleton, Worcester, and Andover while other students in a regional cast
will perform their parts only in the Andover performances. Kumar and Knight are part of the touring cast.
‘Sounds of the Season’
HAVERHILL — The Phoenix Family Foundation NH has announced “Sounds of the Season”, a holiday fundraising concert starting at 7 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 6, at Maria’s Family Restaurant, 81 Essex St.
The evening will feature a lineup of local talent coming together to celebrate community, lift spirits, and support the mission of The Phoenix Family Foundation NH, a family-led grantmaking foundation that provides funding to nonprofits that support families experiencing financial hardships.
Guests will enjoy performances by Courtney Herring of Courtney Herring Voice; Harmonique, members of Sweet Adeline and Merrimack Valley A Cappella of Andover, Maria DiNola & Friends, Scott Ness, and with additional special appearances.

Christmas at Rolling Ridge
NORTH ANDOVER — Rolling Ridge Retreat and Conference Center, is planning Christmas at Rolling Ridge from 2 to 7 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 14, and 4 to 7 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 17. Guests will be invited to stroll through decorated rooms at their own pace then cast votes for their favorites.
This is the first-ever Holiday Decorating Showcase at the venue, which involved staff along and their family and friends adopting rooms in the Georgian Manor, with the intention of transforming the spaces into a festive wonderland. Bedrooms, meeting spaces, and the grounds will be adorned in holiday splendor. And you will have the opportunity to select the winners through your votes.
This is a family-friendly event. Adults are $15 per person. Children ages 5 to 12 are $5. Children under 4 are free.
Hot cider, hot chocolate and other beverages, along with freshly baked Christmas treats are available as part of admission.

Atkinson dancers share ‘Nutcracker’ spotlight
ATKINSON — Aspiring performers from Atkinson will appear in this year’s New England Dance Ensemble production of The Nutcracker at 4 p.m. on both Nov. 29 and Nov. 30 at the Seifer Performing Arts Center, 44 Geremonty Drive, Salem, N.H.
Under the direction of Artistic Director Barbara Mullen, this season’s full-scale professional production of “The Nutcracker,” will once again bring together local talent and world-class guest artists.

Boston Ballet’s ‘Nutcracker’ on stage
BOSTON – Boston Ballet presents Mikko Nissinen’s critically acclaimed “The Nutcracker” from Nov. 28 to Dec. 28 at the Citizens Opera House.
