CUMBERLAND — Three popular contemporary Christian music performers — Leanna Crawford, Ben Fuller and Jeremy Camp — will headline the Allegany County Fair & Ag Expo concert series set for July 20-22.
On July 20, Nashville-based Crawford will take the fair stage. The singer-songwriter began playing guitar and writing poetry in the bedroom of her family’s home in Washington State.
Her debut album, “Still Waters,” combines previously released tracks with fresh compositions like “For Heaven’s Sake,” “Honest” and “Rest.” The album is a tapestry of struggle and faith, reflecting Crawford’s journey and pursuit for truth, honesty and beauty, according to her biography provided by fair officials.
“My prayer is that this album becomes a vessel of hope and grace,” Crawford said in the bio. “I want listeners to feel seen, understood and hopeful through these songs — and as a result, encounter the transformative love of Jesus.”
Fuller, who grew up in Southern Vermont on his family dairy farm working along side his father, will perform July 21.
He was nominated for a 2023 K-LOVE Fan Awards (Breakout Single of The Year — “Who I Am”) and a 2023 Dove Award (New Artist of the Year). In 2024, he was nominated for the Dove Award for Bluegrass/Country/Roots Recorded Song of the Year (“If I Got Jesus”).
Fuller’s debut single, “Who I Am” went to No. 1 on multiple Christian radio charts, while “If I Got Jesus” has amassed over 48.5 million streams as well as 1.5 billion short-form views and 2.1 million creations on TikTok.
Fuller has performed at the Grand Ole Opry and the CMA Festival and has toured with Casting Crowns, Zach Williams, Big Daddy Weave, CAIN and We Are Messengers.
Camp will bring his 12-album repertoire to the fair on July 22. Five of the veteran singer-songwriter’s albums have been Recording Industry Association of America certified as gold. He has sold over 6.5 million albums with 45 No. 1 singles across all formats.
His music has earned him numerous awards and nominations across the Christian and secular music industries, including five Dove Awards, a Grammy nomination, three American Music Award nominations and four ASCAP Songwriter of the Year Awards.
Camp was named Billboard’s No. 2 Christian artist of the decade as well.
Fairgrounds Coordinator Kevin Kamauf said the first Christian music concert was held at the fairgrounds in 2015 with Francesca Battistelli and since that time, contemporary Christian performers have been among the biggest draws at the fair.
“Christian acts are the best attended concerts of the fair, drawing patrons from ages four to 80,” Kamauf said.
All three concerts will begin at 8 p.m. with doors opening at 6:30 p.m.
Advance sale reserved seat ticket sales begin on April 4 at 8 a.m. at www.alleganycofair.org. Tickets are also available through www.ETIX.com. ETIX is the only authorized ticket seller of Allegany County Fair concert tickets.
This year marks the 40th anniversary of Allegany County sponsoring the annual fair and ag expo, which runs July 17-25.
For the first time, the fair will offer a discounted package ticket offering concert-goers the same center stage seats for all three shows. These limited package tickets are only available for the first 30 days of sales or until the block of seats are sold out, fair officials said.
