PLATTSBURGH — Get ready to embrace the magic of winter in Plattsburgh.
The City of Plattsburgh will bring back the Chill on the Hill Winter Festival for a second time Feb. 21 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at South Platt (Fox Hill) Park, 21 S. Platt St.
This free community event is designed to bring together residents and visitors of all ages for a day of fun, food and festivities.
Attendees will enjoy an array of exciting activities and entertainment, including:
— Music provided by KOOL 105.
— Food Trucks, including Adirondack Food Therapy and Cousins Maine Lobster.
— Warming tent, courtesy of Taylor Rental.
— Free hot chocolate, cookies and toys, provided by the Plattsburgh McDonald’s.
— Kids’ Art Activities with The Strand Center for the Arts.
— Outdoor activities with Point Au Roche and Champlain Area Trails.
— Sledding.
— Ice skating, if weather permits.
“We’re excited to once again bring the community together to celebrate winter at the beloved Fox Hill Park,” Community Engagement Coordinator for the City of Plattsburgh Emma Stewart said in a press release. “From music and art to sledding and hot chocolate, there’s something for everyone to enjoy, and we can’t wait to welcome everyone back.”
The event offers an opportunity to experience the beauty of winter in Plattsburgh while supporting local businesses and organizations.
