Central Baptist Church will have a special event featuring the author, apologist and evangelist Lee Strobel.
“An Evening with Lee Strobel” will take place at 6 p.m. March 30 at the church at 1346 S. Main Street. This is a free event open to the community. There is no ticket required for entry.
Strobel, an atheist-turned-Christian and former award-winning legal editor of The Chicago Tribune, is a New York Times best-selling author. With over 40 books and curricula, Strobel’s works have sold fourteen million copies worldwide.
He continues to inspire and educate as the Founding Director of the Lee Strobel Center for Evangelism and Applied Apologetics at Colorado Christian University.
Lee became a Christian in 1981 after two years of investigating the evidence for Jesus. Strobel’s transformative spiritual journey was brought to life in 2017 through the award-winning motion picture The Case for Christ, which captivated audiences in theaters globally and enjoyed a three-year run on Netflix.
His other acclaimed works include The Case for Faith, The Case for a Creator, The Case for Grace, and many more.
