Enjoy blooming dogwoods and blossoming cherry trees while taking the scenic route from Fairfield Glade to Hebbertsburg Community Center for dinner and dancing Saturday, May 9.
The doors open at 3:30 p.m. at 8697 Hebbertsburg Road, Crab Orchard. Admission is $7 for adults, free for ages 16 and younger.
Dinner will be served starting at 4:15 p.m. A choice of spaghetti and meat sauce or barbecue sandwich with chips is available with a drink for $11. Additional drinks and dessert are available for $1 each.
Music by The Memory Road Trio will be from 5-8 p.m., with clogging by the Sweet T’s and a cake walk.
The History of Hebbertsburg, a set of six books authored by descendants of the original settlers, is available for just $6 per book.
Hebbertsburg is about 5 miles north of the stoplight at Stonehenge Drive on Peavine Road in Fairfield Glade — watch for the signs posted along the route.
