MOULTRIE — Students from Colquitt County High School, C.A. Gray Junior High School, and Willie J. Williams Middle School attended the Air Force Association Cyber Camps run by the Marine Corps JROTC at CCHS in June.
Eight students completed the week-long Standard Camp learning to use basic CyberSecurity tools on Windows and Linux virtual machines. Four of the students continued on to the second week Advanced Camp to learned Command Line Interface (CLI) security, Cisco Networking, and practical application as an IT Administrator.
Robert Gomez, Kayden Works, William Buis, Avery Lopez, Jeremiah Nelson, Stephanie Figueroa, Gareth Suleweski, and Mauritania Vazquez completed the Standard Camp.
Gomez, Figueroa, Vazquez, and Suleweski completed the Advanced Camp.
Both camps were made possible by the Innovation in Learning Grant from the Colquitt County School District.
