PLATTSBURGH — Kevin Castine was medalist with a 42 on Thursday, leading Northeastern Clinton to a 4-2 victory over Saranac in Champlain Valley Athletic Conference golf.
Carter Fredette (46) and Logan Trombley (50) also won matches for the Cougars, while Maxx Rabideau (47) and Sam Prairie (47) halved their matches.
Noah Terry carded the low round for the Spartans with a 45, dropping the No. 1 match to Castine.
Collin Lashway (46) picked up a win for Saranac and Nate Hamel (47) and Jason Mather (47) ended up with a half point each.
