Need a dose of Christmas spirit?
There’s so much to do in Fairfield Glade to make the season bright.
A schedule full of sweets, sights and sounds — and yes, a visit from jolly ol’ St. Nick himself — are on tap throughout December, all the way to Christmas Eve.
All activities, except Caroling at The Grove, will take place at The Center, 128 Stonehenge Dr.
Unless otherwise indicated, all activities are free and open to the community.
Monday, Dec. 4
Caroling at the Grove, 5-7 p.m. Dennis Long will lead the community in singing their holiday favorites. Unwrapped gifts for Toys for Tots will be accepted; hot beverages and snacks will be available for purchase.
Saturday, Dec. 16
The Dulcimores in concert, 10 a.m.
Monday, Dec. 18
Lunch and Learn about Winter Weather, 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Ken Weathers will discuss snowy, icy and cold conditions on the Plateau. $10; includes light lunch and drink. Reservations required by calling 931-484-3722.
Wednesday, Dec. 20
The Polar Express [G], 2 p.m.
Thursday, Dec. 21
Cookie decorating, 1-3 p.m. $5 for two cookies or one Christmas craft.
Christmas Classics and A Charlie Brown Christmas [G], 1 p.m.
Friday, Dec. 22
A Christmas Singalong, 2-4 p.m. D.J. and Donna Garrison will lead this musical celebration that includes a visit from Santa Claus. Don’t forget to bring a camera to snap photos to cherish for Christmases to come.
