DANVILLE — Vermilion County State’s Attorney Jacqueline Lacy announced on Monday that the Victim Assistance Program received a donation from Carle Health through their Community Impact Program.
According to a release from the State’s Attorney’s Office, the $4,000 donation will support the Victim Assistance Program in providing emergency shelter, travel, food and clothing, along with other essentials to victims in need while criminal cases are pending.
“We are incredibly grateful to Carle Health for their generous contribution to our Victim Assistance Program,” Lacy said in the release. “This support reflects the dedication of Carle Health to the well-being of our community. Their generosity helps to ensure victims and their families will receive assistance and resources.”
