STEPHENS CITY, Va. — Calvary won a 33-17 defensive slugfest over Legacy on Thursday.
The game was tied at 1 after one quarter with each team splitting a pair of free throws.
The Eagles (2-7) outscored the Saints 14-8 in the second quarter and led 15-9 at the break.
Calvary led 29-15 after three before outscoring Legacy 4-2 in the fourth.
Madie Robinette led both teams with 10 points while Selah Livengood added nine for the Eagles.
Lily Hilton paced Legacy with four points.
Calvary played at Bishop Walsh (7-5) on Friday before hosting Cumberland Valley on Tuesday at 5:30 p.m.
