Honor Bank Compliance Support Specialist Cheryl Milliron is celebrating 45 years with the company. She started in 1978 as a drive-up teller and associate in the bookkeeping department. Since then, she has had more than 10 roles with the bank.
Traverse City Track Club hired Lindsay McLaughlin as its new executive director. She has more than 10 years of experience in community engagement, law and policy in public, private and nonprofit areas. Recently, she worked as the first director of a new bureau at the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services. A Michigan native, McLaughlin received an undergraduate degree from Albion College and her juris doctor and master’s in public health from the University of Minnesota. She has been a track club member since moving to northern Michigan in January.
Kimberly Pontius, CEO of Aspire North REALTORS and the Northern Great Lakes REALTORS MLS, was appointed to the 2024 National Association of REALTORS’ Sustainability Advisory Committee.
Michigan Health Information Network Shared Services recently announced the election of Janée Tyus to its Board of Directors. Tyus has more than 10 years of experience in clinical research, public policy, community engagement and nonprofit leadership. Tyus is the senior program director for the Mid-Michigan Community Health Access Program at the Greater Flint Health Coalition. She also is an adjunct lecturer at the University of Michigan-Flint Department of Public Health and Health Sciences. Additionally, Gov. Gretchen Whitmer recently appointed Tyus to a three-year term on the Michigan Health Information Technology Commission.
Josh Pugh is the new director of external affairs for the Michigan State Housing Development Authority. Pugh will work in housing policy development, legislative relations, market research and communications. Most recently, he was senior director of public affairs at Detroit-based communications firm Truscott Rossman. He serves on the board of Downtown Lansing, Inc. and is vice president of the Lansing Common Football Club.
