Independent Bank is announcing new members of its commercial banking team. Brad Dyksterhouse is vice president and lending solutions manager. He is based in Traverse City. Cindy Wichern is a senior lending solutions associate for the bank’s newly-created Lending Solutions Team.
Kevin Weed will be the new headmaster for the 2024-25 school year at St. Michael High School in Petoskey. Weed has 25 years of experience as a teacher and administrator. He taught literature, writing and journalism at East Jordan Public Schools for four years. Before that, he was principal of Bishop Baraga Catholic School in Iron Mountain and was a teacher at Hamilton Community Schools. The high school’s current headmaster Andrew Moe will become a full-time teacher next year.
20Fathoms is welcoming new team members. Delaney Keating is the director of entrepreneurship and commercialization. Previously, she was managing director for Pando Telecom and the executive director of Startup Colorado. David Kronberg is the director of the Regional Small Business Support Hub. Most recently, he worked as director of entrepreneurial services and outreach at Innovate Marquette SmartZone and Invent@NMU.
Annie Zimmerman is manager of member engagement. She co-founded One Oak Bride and The Helm Foundation and most recently served as chief operating officer for Anchorlight Creative. Additionally, Maria Purvis is the manager of events and special programs. She joined 20Fathoms in 2020 as manager of community engagement.
