ST. PETER — Routine inspections of the underside of a historic bridge are slated Wednesday and Thursday.
Minnesota Department of Transportation crews will be inspecting the Highway 99 Bridge over the Minnesota River between 8:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. both days.
Traffic will be reduced to one lane across the bridge and flagging operations will be in place.
The upper portion of the Highway 99 bridge was inspected last week. Inspections underneath the bridge had to be delayed until the river’s water level subsided.
