DANVILLE — Downtown Danville Inc. (DDI) announced the opening of Bresee Bar and Grill, a new dining destination located at 8 E. North Street in Danville.
The restaurant will officially open to the public on Sunday, March 22.
According to a release for DDI, “Bresee Bar and Grill brings a fresh and welcoming atmosphere to the downtown district, offering residents and visitors a new place to gather, dine, and experience the continued growth of Danville’s local business community. The opening reflects ongoing momentum in downtown revitalization efforts and highlights the commitment of local entrepreneurs investing in the district.’’
Bresee’s menu will feature Smash Burgers, boneless or traditional wings, salads and house-made appetizers.
“We are proud to offer a menu consisting of all house made, fresh ingredients and we use only beef tallow for frying,’’ according to the release. “Ask us about our gluten free and vegetarian options. Our bar will offer signature cocktails, a fine variety of craft beer and spirits, along with all your favorite beverages.’’
The restaurant will open at 9 a.m. daily with coffee and donuts. Kitchen hours are 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sunday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. The bar hours will be until 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and until midnight on Fridays and Saturdays.

The grand opening is scheduled for April 1 with an official ribbon cutting ceremony.
