BOLTON — Revenge is a dish best served cold. The lone loss for Bolton this season was a 14-5 defeat at the hands of Warrensburg.
Saturday, the Eagles got their revenge, defeating the Burgers 5-2.
Carly Smith and Ella Hens recorded multi-hit games for Bolton with Smith leading the way with three. Hens added two.
Riley Huck was the lone Eagle to record an extra base hit as she laced a double.
Warrensburg battery mates, Hope Sherman and Hailey Goodspeed each recorded a double.
Kayla Navitsky was solid from the circle as she struck out five across seven innings. Her counterpart, Sherman, recorded six strikeouts.

WILLSBORO — Bolton and Kayla Navitsky continued their run on an impressive season as they defeated Willsboro, 20-1 in five innings in a Mountain and Valley Athletic Conference game.
Winners of seven in a row, the Eagles have outscored their opponents by a whopping 241-33 and are undefeated in the MVAC.
Thanks in no small part to Navitsky who showed dominance again from the circle, striking out nine.

LAKE PLACID — Kaitlin Ross had a night she’ll never forget as she threw her 300th strikeout as Crown Point defeated Lake Placid, 18-1 in six innings.
Madison Weyman and Julianne Swan both hit triples for the Panthers as the Blue Bombers’ Abbey Light hit one as well.
Makenna Munson led all players with three hits. Teammates Rylee Rafferty, Abigail Lafaountain, Margaret Benway and Swan all had two hits.

MORIAH — The Vikings would come out of the gate in a flurry scoring five runs in the opening frame. The Patriots kept their composure, scoring 16 runs between the 3rd and 5th innings to blow the game open and win, 17-5.
AuSable Valley’s Addie Stanley blasted a home run as teammates Renee Bruno and Julia Bailey hit triples.
Bailey and Raven Sessoms led AVCS with two hits each.
Moriah’s Amelia Kazlo, Addy Nephew and Aliya Nephew recorded two hits apiece.
After giving up five runs on six hits in the first inning, the Patriots’ Laina Jennings would only give up two more hits over the game.
“We came out strong in the game with our first 6 hitters getting hits,” Moriah’s Don Tesar said. “Ausable kept their composure and battled back. We did not help ourselves by committing 8 errors on the day.
“Ausable is a good offensive group that can really hit the ball.”

SARANAC — Peru struck early, and repeated the case in the third inning, to defeat Saranac, 6-0.
Lauren Prescott led the way offensively for the Nighthawks with two hits including a double. Sierra Geppner also recorded a double.
Zoey Malcolm took the runs she was given and didn’t give the Spartans a chance to get back in the game. Over seven innings, she struck out four and walked three.
Saranac’s Abby Owen walked five and struck out one over three innings of pitching. Irelyn Ryan came in relief and shut the Nighthawks down, striking out eight.
Owen attempted to help her own cause with a double, as Oliva Squier and Molly Denis recorded multi-hit games. Squier also had a double.
“Peru came out swinging the bats and put a quick 3 runs on the board and repeated that in the 3rd inning to build the 6 – 0 lead,” Spartan haed coach Sam Campbell said. “They followed that up with solid pitching by Zoey Malcolm and with the defense lead by Lauren Prescott were able to keep us in check.”

ELLENBURG — Abby Peryea and Emma Spoor lead the Bobcats with 4 RBI each as the Bobcats defeat the Red Storm, 13-3 on Senior Night.
Peryea had the hit of the night as she launched the ball for a homerun. She finished with two hits with four RBI and three runs. Spoor would hit one of NAC’s two doubles finishing with two hits on the night.
Grace Cook kept the Saranac Lake bats off balance as she struck out five over the game. Her counterpart Kylee Meyer struck out five as well.
Ayla Small, Gracen Foster and Kaedyn Grant finished with two hits for the Red Storm.
“Grace Cook pitched a good game and our defense made some key plays to keep them from scoring,” NAC’s Jason Bushey said. “Abby Peryea and Emma Spoor lead our offense with 4 RBIs each.
“It was nice to get the win on senior night. Saranac Lake did a nice job swinging the bats as they totaled 9 hits in the game.”

TICONDEROGA — Ti made sure to send its five seniors off in style as the Sentinels defeated the Griffins, 25-4 in five innings.
It was Senior Night for Jaelyn Whitford, Sophia Dorsett, Cassidy Mattison, Sarah Pound and Blake Charboneau.
Ti was able to put on the runs due to patience at the plate as they took advantage of 19 walks.
Whitford led the Sentinels with three hits as Dorsett and Addy More added two hits each. Moore was deadly at the plate with her two hits being a triple and double.
Sophie Pulsifer went 2-2 with an RBI for Boquet Valley.
Ticonderoga’s Myleigh Drinkwine was impressive from the circle as she struck out six, giving up only three hits in five innings of work.
