DANVILLE — The City of Danville started work on a box culvert extension project on Boiling Springs Road on Tuesday.
According to a release from Terra Barrett of the Public Works Department, to safely complete the construction, Boiling Springs Road will be closed to all traffic between 210 Boiling Springs Road and 214 Boiling Springs Road beginning Tuesday, Aug. 11. The closure is expected to remain in place through Friday, Aug. 28, weather permitting.
During construction, motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes and avoid the area whenever possible. Access to the work zone will be restricted to ensure the safety of the public and construction crews.
